Provider and scope
The service is provided by MW Trade Marks Limited. The selected package and confirmation define the mark, territories, classes and included stages. Objections, oppositions, hearings, negotiations, appeals, enforcement and contentious work are excluded unless expressly stated.
Review, authority and accuracy
We carry out a preliminary review before filing and may recommend changes, further searches or a different scope. You authorise filing only after confirming the final details. You are responsible for the accuracy of ownership, address, use and business information supplied. Registration cannot be guaranteed.
Fees and payments
The package price covers the stated professional work, relevant official fee for one class and UK VAT where applicable. Additional classes and work outside scope are charged only after the cost is explained and authorised.
Official fees and refunds
Registry fees and incurred representative disbursements are non-refundable once the relevant action has been taken. If we cannot accept the engagement before work or filing begins, we will explain the position and arrange the appropriate refund.
Cancellation
Consumers may have statutory cancellation rights. If you ask us to begin during a cancellation period, you may have to pay for work performed up to cancellation; the right may end once the service is fully performed following the required request and acknowledgement. Official fees already incurred cannot be recovered. Matter-specific information will be provided where applicable.
EU representation and correspondence
EU applications are filed through an authorised EU representative. You must keep contact details current and respond promptly to approval requests and deadlines. We may withdraw where permitted if instructions, information or payment are not provided.
Regulation and complaints
MW Trade Marks Limited is regulated by IPReg as a registered body and maintains professional indemnity insurance through PAMIA. Please raise concerns first at hello@trademarkregistrationdirect.com. If a complaint is not resolved, information about IPReg’s complaints process is available from IPReg.
