Additional classes
UK: £125 for each additional class. EU: £125 for the second class and £225 for the third and each subsequent class. An additional class in both UK and EU applications is £325. Prices include UK VAT where applicable.
Optional preliminary searches
UK search and short risk report: £295. EU search and short risk report: £395. Combined UK and EU search: £595. A search is optional and is not included automatically in the complete application package.
Price and scope
Complete packages include a preliminary review, application preparation, filing and routine reporting through registration. Detailed clearance opinions, substantive objections, oppositions, negotiations, hearings, appeals and evidence are separately quoted. Unusually broad or complex specifications may also require a separate quotation. No additional work begins without authority. Official fees are non-refundable after filing. Prices for customers outside the UK may vary where different VAT treatment applies.

Is the official filing fee included in the price?
Yes. The UK package is £749 including the UKIPO filing fee for one class, professional preparation and UK VAT. The EU package is £1,499 including the EUIPO fee for one class and authorised EU representation. The combined package is £1,999, saving £249 compared with buying both separately.
How much does it cost to register a UK trade mark in two classes?

Why is the package more than the UKIPO fee?
The official standard online fee is £205 for one UK class. Our service also includes ownership and preliminary application review, class selection, specification preparation, filing and routine reporting. Is the free assessment a free registration or a full search?
No. The initial assessment helps us understand your brand and business and explain the next steps and costs. Registration is a paid service. A detailed clearance search is separate; optional search prices and the package exclusions are listed above.
